New functions in Lotus Notes 8

IBM Lotus Notes 8 is the latest release of IBM Lotus Notes. It contains improvements of the core functions of the Lotus Notes Client, for example email, calendar, appointment planning and contact management. There are also comprehensive new and innovative functions: one is the activity based online cooperation, which can contribute to increase the end users' productivity immensely. Another new function is the support for modular applications. By this, developers can combine their existing Lotus Notes applications with application components in order to solve certain business related problems.
