Petersberg, 23. September 2008 – In order to survive in a business world that is getting faster and faster, companies have to be innovative and flexible.
This is especially true with regard to customer loyalty and customer care as decisive factors of competition. This is why more and more companies resort to Customer Relationship Management solutions and thus make use of modern information technology methods to steady profitable customer relations with the help of marketing, sales and service campaigns. Furthermore CRM solutions account to improving internal business processes, help to complete strategic competitive advantages and to save costs at the same time.
“Apparently, it has been getting around in the meantime that it is more expensive to win new customers than to keep existing ones”, explains Joachim Weber, Chief executive officer of GEDYS IntraWare GmbH with regard to the growing acceptance of CRM solutions. Despite many advantages, CRM solutions have had so far a serious deficit: The field staff was missed out. “Many solutions are meant for work at a fixed location and a mobile access is difficult or not possible at all. “That is a clear shortfall, which mainly concerns field staff, who are depending on the latest information on the customer”, comments Weber.
By integrating BlackBerry into the comprehensive CRM suite "GEDYS IntraWare 7", GEDYS IntraWare has found a remedy and affords efficient, software supported care of customer relations en route. Features and tools like the address and document management or the ingenious sales information system will be available for mobile use in the future.
In this process "GEDYS IntraWare 7" takes advantage of the typical push technology for BlackBerry devices. This ensures that all customer information, as well as emails, are directly pushed onto the BlackBerry without a big effort.
"Since its commercial launch in 1999, BlackBerry has conceptually developed from an email device to a convergence product. With the integration of BlackBerry in our on Lotus Notes based CRM solutions we make it possible to carry the office in your pocket and thus react to a time in which the business world becomes increasingly mobile", Weber says.
The mobile CRM of the new generation takes centre stage at the GEDYS IntraWare stand at the trade fair "SYSTEMS" in Munich (21.-24. October 2008, hall A1 stand 330) and at the trade fair "CRM-expo" in Nuremberg (05.-06. November 2008, D10).
