Petersberg, 27 December 2007 - A special Christmas present reached the CRM specialists of the GEDYS IntraWare GmbH Thursday night. The comprehensive CRM solution "GEDYS IntraWare 7" is awarded the "IBM Lotus Award 2008 - Best TOTAL Lotus Software Solution" by IBM and is thereby honoured as the best Lotus Software solution worldwide.

The well-known prize distinguishes the CRM Suite of the Petersberg supplier as the best IBM solution for the whole Lotus range worldwide. The Suite comprises of products such as Lotus Notes and Domino, Lotus Sametime, Lotus Quickr, Lotus Forms, Lotus Connections and the WebSphere Portal Software.

The clincher for the award was the leading position of "GEDYS IntraWare 7" in the field of collaborative functions, enabling people to work together in a close, innovative and productive way, which has been unknown before. Moreover, IBM recognized the perfectly integrated CRM solution into Lotus Notes. Furthermore, the rationale mentioned: "The GEDYS solution enables employees to share their knowledge and skills across a variety of organizations and processes companywide."

Both Managing Directors of the GEDYS IntraWare GmbH, Ralf Geishauser and Joachim Weber, were extremely pleased about the award. "This is of course a wonderful Christmas present for us. It stresses once more our leading position as an innovative supplier in the field of software supported Customer Relationship Management", Ralf Geishauser said. "And we would like to thank all customers, partners and employees who have been supporting us for many years and thus made this success possible", Joachim Weber added.

It will, however, take some weeks until both Managing Directors can touch the popular trophy for the first time. The award will only be presented by IBM at the Lotusphere 2008 in Orlando, the biggest IBM Lotus conference worldwide with about 8,000 people as audience. Mike Rhodin, Managing Director of the worldwide Lotus organisation, himself will hand over the award to GEDYS IntraWare.
