London, 16 October 2009 - From 8-9 October 2009, this year's UK Lotus Notes User Group Conference took place in Edinburgh.

It was one of the largest Lotus gatherings in the UK where Lotus professionals could network to share experiences and best practices. 315 attendees in total took the chance to join this 2 day event with a wide range of technical sessions including some of the latest developments - such as Notes & Domino 8.5, Sametime Advanced and Lotus Quickr 8.5 - presented by some of the leading speakers in the Lotus community. Also, the participants had the possibility to get an idea of the sponsor offerings, especially during the speed sponsoring session.

As one of only two Platinum sponsors GEDYS IntraWare and its sister company GROUP Technologies represented the GROUP Business Software consortium. Apart from identifying the two Lotus Notes 8.5 Experts of the day by a quiz of tricky Lotus Notes questions, the companies showed their flexible CRM solutions for a 360 view of the customer and their email compliance solutions for comprehensive email security and archiving.
